  • A Rubik’s Cube has six sides or faces.
  • The centre colour defines which side it is. Suppose if there is red in the centre that means it is the red side of the cube and the full side should become red once it is solved.
  • The centres of the cube don’t move. You can move the corners and even the sides but the centres stay still throughout. White is usually the opposite of yellow, blue is on the other side of the green, and lastly red has orange on its other face.
  • The corners typically have three sides and the edge pieces have two sides. Always keep it in mind as a trick to solve Rubik cube that while solving it think that you are moving the pieces and not the stickers.

The First Step Of How To Solve A Rubik’s Cube Is To Shape A Daisy

To shape a daisy means to move to the yellow face of the cube and form a daisy by rotating four white onto the four sides of the yellow.

The colour of the corner pieces doesn’t make any differences so leave them be. Rather focus on forming the daisy shape.

  • Don’t move the pieces after placing the white sticker next to the yellow ones.
  • You can opt for rotating the topmost layer without ruining the daisy shape.

Try And Create A White Cross

The next step of how to solve a 3×3 Rubik’s cube will be to form a white cross. To form the cross what you have to do is to face each side and pair non-white stickers around whichever side of colour that is.

After completing this move the centres 2 times and repeat the total process 3 times again. After finishing you can notice the white cross on the bottom.

Then Work On White Corners To Know How To Solve A Rubik’s Cube

The next step after forming the white cross would be to match the white corners. Keep twisting the bottom layer until one of the white pieces is under where it is supposed to be. Then based on the side it is facing keep moving the piece until it reaches its actual place.

Let’s Move On To Unsolved Second Layer

After completing the white side turn it upside down and focus on the unsolved sides. Choose the face you want to work with then keep rotating until you form a vertical line of the particular colour side you are working with.

Time For A Yellow Cross

Similar to the white cross it’s now time to form the yellow cross. Move to the yellow side of the cube and start rotating. You could have three structures. Yellow on the middle, yellow ‘L’ or a yellow horizontal line.

Depending on the structure keep rotating the dice.

Completing The Yellow Side

Now similar to the white process try and do how to solve a 3×3 Rubik’s cube by completing the yellow side. You already have the yellow cross what you need now is the corners.

Keep rotating the yellow sides till it appears at the bottom of its natural habitat. At this step, all the sides will be appearing at the corner of their respective colour side. The final step would be to move them and finish the task.
