A new ICC cricket 2022 T20 World Cup is set to begin in Australia on October 16. Australia, the incumbent champions, is the favourite to win the championship again. The mega tournament will last one month, and the championship game will take place on November 13. The top eight teams in the ICC T20 rankings advance to the Super 12 stage, while the other eight compete in a first-round match to advance to the Super 12.
ICC Cricket Venue
The Cricket ICC has chosen seven Australian towns to host the prestigious men’s T20 Cricket World Cup in 2019. Each of these cities should host the matches. It would, however, depend on the specific Covid circumstances that would be in play at the time. The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed on November 16, 2021, that the T20 World Cup 2022 would consist of 45 matches and take place in 7 Australian cities.
The seven cities mentioned are Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth. The MCG, Kardinia Park Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, The Gabba, Bellerive Oval, Adelaide Oval, and Perth Stadium are the seven sites listed in the ICC media release hosting the T20 World Cup 2022 matches.
The T20 World Cup final will be held at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on November 13, 2022, with the semi-finals at SCG (Sydney Cricket Ground) and Adelaide Oval on November 9 and 10, respectively.

Fans can watch live broadcasts of India’s warm-up or practice matches. The live stream of India’s practice game will be available on Star Sports Network’s stations, as it is India’s official broadcast partner of the T20 World Cup in 2022. After being postponed in 2020 owing to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 was rescheduled for 2022.

The summit match will take place on November 13 while Australia hosts the eighth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup beginning on October 16. It will take place in seven locations across Australia over a period of 30 days. All 16 teams must play a few warm-up games to improve their readiness for the approaching challenge before the main group matches, though.
Notably, the periphery eight teams—who will compete in the qualifier round—will finish their warm-up games before the eight teams who will automatically qualify. First Practice match will be between West Indies and UAE on October 10 at Junction Oval, and last practice match will be between India and New Zealand on October 19 at the Gabba.
